What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a procedure where several tiny sterile needles penetrate the skin to create tiny injuries. This prompts your body’s natural healing powers, creating new collagen and generating other new skin tissue. We use Hyaluronic Acid Serum to firm and hydrate your skin during the procedure. Microneedling can be done every 4-6 weeks. We recommend at least 3 treatments.

What is the pre-procedure for Microneedling?

Before the procedure we will make sure all makeup and moisturizer is removed from the area to be treated.
Our topical numbing BLT cream will be applied for 15-30 minutes.
Numbing cream will be removed and the area being treated will be cleansed with alcohol.

How long does the procedure last?

The procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes.

What does Microneedling feel like?

Our BLT Numbing Cream enables this procedure to be as comfortable as possible. Most patients only feel small vibrations from the microneedling pen.

What is the post-procedure for Microneedling?

There is no major downtime after microneedling because it is minimally invasive. You will most likely experience redness and your skin may feel like a mild sunburn. This subsides within a few days. Our Cool Water Serum, a cool washcloth, or our cooling pads can be applied to soothe your skin. Slight flaking of the skin will occur for approximately 3-7 days. Your normal moisturizer can be applied to help with this.

What therapies compliment Microneedling?

Microneedling creates so many channels into the deeper layers of your skin. Adding therapeutic products during microneedling enables these products to benefit your skin to their greatest potential. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally made by your skin, but it decreases as you age. Hyaluronic Acid Serum can be applied to your skin during microneedling to firm and hydrate your skin.
