The great thing about Chemical Peels is they can be tailored for almost every skin type and skin concern.  They are great for exfoliating the skin, renewing the skin’s surface, treating acne, acne scars and so much more! Peels are also great for treating fine lines and wrinkles, so if you’re not ready to try injectables, peels are a great way to start treating your skin concerns!

What does a Peel do?

Improves appearance and texture of skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, superficial blemishes, and evens skin tone.

How does a Chemical Peel Work?
  • Induces peeling of the top layer of the skin

  • Skin will flake/peel in 2-3 days

What to do before your Chemical Peel?
  • Do not use irritants or exfoliants for 48 hours

  • Use SPF

How often can I get a TCA Chemical Peel?

Can retreat every 2 weeks.

Is there anything I can expect after a TCA Chemical Peel?
  • Frosting of scar surface can last up to 12 hours

  • Skin surrounding treated areas will be red and  sore for 24 to 48 hours

  • Scabbing may develop after 2-3 days and fall off after 3-7 days

  • You can wash skin as normal, and may apply makeup

  • Use sunscreen

  • Most patients require 3-6 treatments for optimal improvement

  • Can be repeated every 2-8 weeks depending on the patient’s skin reaction
